H&M has partnered with Danone AQUA again for the bottle2fashion project, which turns plastic bottle waste from all over Indonesia into recycled polyester. This H&M children’s clothing collection is made using bottle2fashion recycled polyester, a more sustainable material used in everyday wear, in a variety of print and colors.
All polyester used in this collection is recycled and comes from the bottle2fashion project, which also supports the Indonesian government’s initiatives against marine pollution while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals. 7.5 million PET bottles are collected from all over Indonesia’s islands, then sorted and cleaned before being shredded into flakes to make recycled polyester fibres.
