The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said there were three main topics in the energy transition working group (ETWG) meeting at the G20. The three issues in question are access, technology, and funding. Indonesia will encourage developed countries to invest and finance various innovations to develop NRE. In addition, the government will also collect promises from developed countries that will help fund US$100 billion to deal with climate change.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif said the pillars of the G20 energy transition will garner stronger global commitments to achieve clean energy. In the forum, Indonesia will also encourage developed countries to implement policies to accelerate global economic recovery in an inclusive manner.
