The preparation of Bali Guidelines became one of the outcome documents of the implementation of the G20 1st Tourism Working Group. The delegates strongly support the Bali Guidelines which is centered on the welfare of local communities and creative economy actors. “We will ensure that tourism can create more and better jobs. This includes expanding technical and vocational education and training opportunities, changing the way we train in the tourism sector,” said Frans Teguh, Chair of Tourism Working Group.
On the 1st Tourism Working Group, the G20 delegates expressed their opinions about the five lines of action which were the main focus in the forum. Among them, human capital related to work, skills, entrepreneurship, and education. The G20 delegation agreed to increase continuous upskilling and reskilling.
