La Fête Nationale Française

This year, the theme for the July 14 parade is “Partager La Flamme” (Sharing the Flame).

As we know, the flame has been, since the Second World War, the symbol that brings hope in the future and the destiny of the French nation. It burns in front of the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, under the Arc de Triomphe, in perpetual memory of those who sacrificed themselves for France.

The flame of July 14 also refers to the Olympic and Paralympic Games that France will host in 2024.
