Indonesian-French Chamber of Commerce held webinar with topic “Sustainable Tourism to Enhance After The Covid Pandemic” on 22th June 2021. The topic was presented by Mr. Frans Teguh, Sustainable Development and Conservation Specialist of Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Indonesia, Mr. Christophe Glass, Director of Tauzia Hotel Management, Mr. David Makes (SMG), Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Management Group, and Mr. Philippe Augier, Chairman of IFCCI, as the moderator.

The topic is about sustainable tourism movement during and after the pandemic. Given the number of tourists who come to Indonesia is not as much as before the pandemic. For this reason, in order to increase the country’s foreign exchange, creative ideas are needed to reach tourists while still paying attention to strict health protocols. In this case, companies that are active in the hospitality tourism sector need to create creative ideas to survive the pandemic while focusing more in the quality of tourism and the impact on the environment in this new normal.
