Indonesia’s Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati reported that the implementation of the 2022 State Budget recorded a positive performance which, she opined, was in line with the improving domestic economy and the increasingly controlled COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 State Budget, she said, is an instrument to support the achievement of development targets, dampen the impact of global economic turmoil, and maintain people’s welfare.“The good performance of the state budget in 2022 and the momentum of economic growth are expected to be strong capital amid economic uncertainty in 2023,” said Sri in a press conference which was broadcast live via the ministry’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
The hard work of the state budget for the last three years has succeeded in protecting the people and economy of Indonesia.
