Ministry of Transportation Allows Airline Tickets Rise Following Avtur Prices

The Ministry of Transportation allows airlines to increase ticket prices through additional costs (fuel surcharge) for domestic passenger transportation. This policy is to maintain operational continuity and ensure connectivity between regions in Indonesia is not disrupted amidst rising global avtur prices.

“This provision was made after coordinating and communicating with relevant stakeholders such as airlines, aviation associations, aviation practitioners, YLKI, and other related elements in the aviation sector,” said Ministry of Transportation Spokesperson Adita Irawati. “The provisions on lower and upper limit fare have not changed according to what is currently in effect,” Adita explained.
