Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), Kasdi Subagyono, emphasized the importance of open access to world food and agripreneurship innovation through digital agriculture. This was conveyed by Kasdi while chairing the G20 deputy agriculture meeting which was held virtually at Novotel Bogor, West Java.
Indonesia values the importance of developing agriculture in an adaptive manner and following a sustainable cropping pattern. This includes applying fast cropping patterns such as using early- or short-lived varieties. “Then anticipate and adapt to global climate change, which is currently increasingly uncertain. So, our description and position in the G20 is anticipating climate change,” he said.
