During the G20 Summit, Commercial Airplanes are Prohibited from Staying at Bali Airport

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transportation announced a number of provisions for regulating flight operations during the G20 Indonesia Presidency Summit at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali .

This provision was announced through a circular letter (SE) issued on November 3, 2022. The schedule for the implementation of aircraft operational arrangements during the holding of the G20 Indonesia Presidency Summit has also been set to be held on November 12-18, 2022.  several provisions set out in the circular letter started from operating hours which were decided to be valid for 24 hours and commercial flights were prohibited from parking overnight or Remain Over Night (RON).

There are also restrictions on flight operations or limited operations at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport for regular flights from November 13-17 2022. This pattern of restrictions, he said, is to provide space for the handling of VVIP flights.
