Jakarta – Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto received a visit from the French Ambassador to Indonesia Olivier Chambard and the French Naval Group team at the Indonesian Defense Minister’s Office, Ministry of Defense, Jakarta, Friday (10/12).
This visit is in order to discuss efforts to increase cooperation in the defense sector of the two countries, including strengthening the TNI’s defense equipment and advancing the capacity of Indonesia’s defense industry.
Previously, last November, French Foreign Minister HE Jean-Yves Le Drian during his visit to Indonesia also held a meeting with Defense Minister Prabowo, which discussed the follow-up to the strategic partnership between Indonesia and France in the defense sector.
